Tapestry
Carole King
It was pretty good, I really enjoyed the jazzy easy-listening sound of the album. The guitar was groovy with some really great arpeggios and some bluesy leads. Lyrically it is a bit underwhelming and, just by it's own influence, cliche. Would listen again, but will not be a mainstay of my listening.
Standouts:
"It's Too Late" which features a beautiful saxophone and guitar solo
"Way over Yonder" has a beautiful bass line, nice rhythm and great bits of piano/lead guitar flare.
"You have got a friend" was a favourite song of my mother, I think? It makes me feel really sad, actually, it is really nice but I now want to be hold.
"Smackwater Jack" has a really great hook that I love to bits, very nice blues rhythm going on in the guitar and some tasty leads.

Sticky Fingers
The Rolling Stones
An absolutely classic Rolling Stone album with the defining RS sound stamped all over it. I never really listened to a full album of theirs before, so this was an interesting experience. It contains a few top hits of the band, especially Wild Horses which is a track that I have heard a lot before. What is interesting about this band is that you can still hear the big influence that blues had on the Rock & Roll genre. They also had an interesting guitar style with picked strings in the strums.
Standouts:
"Wild Horses" has just beautiful guitar. Great picked strumming with interesting extra notes sticking out, it both sounds more complicated and easier than it is.

Debut
Björk
I hate this album, tried listening it a few times and just stopped after a few songs. Annoying droning vocals, frustrating drums and uninteresting lyrics.

Disintegration
The Cure
The Cure are an essential band for the post-punk genre that was instrumental in the late 80s and early 90s music scene. Personally, though, I have never been a big fan of post-punk bands. Though The Cure has made many songs I really like, they are kind of like Bob Dylan for me, great song writers but with whom I don't personally vibe with their performances. The standout song from this album is Lovesong which features some nice synthesizer sounds and music.

The Contino Sessions
Death In Vegas
Love this album, reminds me of all the great parts of Nine Inch Nails recent (?) albums. Especially Hesitation Marks which is my favourite NIN album by far. Amazing synth/glitch industrial that is a pleasure to listen to with a great motive of morse code. An instant classic that I will listen to with some regularity. Am
Standouts:
Death Threat - Just a great synth sound
Aisha - Amazing heavy guitar rhythm
Broken Little Sister - It just soo NIN like in all the good ways

Go Girl Crazy
The Dictators
Classic punk album which has simply gone stale due to it being copied so often. None of the songs are offensive, but they just sound a bit boring and too "generic" these days. It reminds me of Ramones and AC/DC. It is good listen, but nothing that I would personally listen to again. Definitely super important in the history of punk rock and I am happy to have listened to it.
Stand outs:
Two Tube Man - Nice guitar electric guitar riffs and a strong rhythmic pattern base
Master Race Rock - classic antifa lyrics making fun of Nazis which is always welcome

King Crimson
One of the all time classic progressive rock albums. Honestly each song here is a standout.

O.G. Original Gangster
Ice T
Surprising hit for me, gangsta rap is a genre that I have never listened to nor felt the need to listen to. The album is an interesting, deeply political take on black culture in the early 90s America whose themes and statements still remain as true today as they were then. Lyrically the strongest album thus far and very nice to listen to.
Standouts:
Straight Up Nigga, Escape from the Killing Fields and Bitches 2

Golden Hour
Kacey Musgraves
Inoffensive country/soft listening album with some easy to digest acoustic strumming patterns. It is a bit corny, but pretty alright. I wouldn't mind someone putting this on in the car, but it is not an album that I would put on myself. Especially the rhythms in this album are very strong, super consistent and interesting to listen to. This goes for the guitar and the drums which both mainly act as the backing track.
Stand outs:
Butterflies - Super cool mixing of different patterns and rhythmic instruments to create song that just sounds really large.
Love is Wild - Great example of amazing acoustic guitar playing, you can clearly hear a strummed picked pattern which allows someone to play both lead and backing at the same time. It gives a of texture to the player. The Banjo in the background doing a more lead-y riffs is also just really nice
Space Cowboy - just a really fun and clever hook that I like. I also want to have a space cowboy

This sure was an album, not an interesting one, but an album. I enjoyed the more jazzy influences in the record
