1001 Albums Summary

i liked this album. thought it was kinna one note other than the fourth song (kinna dug that one). lots of guitars. i really like guitars tho. i wanna give this a three star bc i thought it was fine and i’d listen to it as background music but don’t want it to stand too close to any albums i rank 4 or 5 star cuz i’ll REALLY like those. so i give it a two but if this was a 10 star thing i’d give it a five. 🤷‍♀️

bjork -mystical desert singing first song w psychedelic belly dancing -don’t like the second song -third song idk i mean her singing is a vibe? i don’t think i’d really listen to this album again but i def don’t think it’s bad. makes me think “coconut mall” -oo is four a bop? couple dance club numbers had me vibing that one soft song not my fav and wouldn’t seek it out again but would listen if it was on. i give it a 2.

i’ve listened to several songs on this album before. nostalgic . feels like summertime with my family. soulful and familiar to me. love the first one. def have heard before. i dig easy listening 60s soft shit. (judy bloom) not super into 2nd song (train song) third song feels like king arthur’s court. like old kingdoms knights n shit so title is apt track four - lovely track 5 meh okay lady of the island is lovely helplessly hoping - yes i like teach your children well feeling a solid 3 (as in id listen again but not my fav) would give it a four but prolly won’t play it again any time soon.

i love zz top! makes me feel cool listening to it. summer music. late to work with sunglasses on. blowin down the road. a hauw hauw hauw .

i liked this album! the second song was my favorite. i fucks with the british 70s punk kinna sound. i’ll def listen to that song again but the album as a whole…prolly not any time soon. appreciated it for what it was tho. 3 star!
