It might be that the majority of my music listening journey has been in an era where overproduced music has become the norm, and the production behind this perticular project isn't anything out of the norn from its own time period, but the "querky" and "under production" seems to be the most shining part of this project so far, obviously I am not taking away from any of the masterful guitar and drum performances which are blowing such life into each song, making them unique and lively. The movement from one song to another feels dynamic and "evolving"
This being my first listen to any work from Hendrix, makes it a high standard which my mind has now barred for his other projects to live upto. Vocals like the production feels not overly corrected and has a sense of being performed in person.

The album can be best described to someone new to it or the artist (me) with just one of the prominent genres which shines through the album, "house pop". This album lives up to the name and gives it more complex and definitive meaning for me. This particular genre and the style to vocal and lyrical showcase isn't something I would pick from a collective of music on my own, but if presented through another agent, I won't mind listening to it in the least. The music is calming and can be classified as "easy going" which I guess describes the genre itself, but in my eyes is the testament to the art and attention behind the project. There are definitely some elements I have discovered here, which I really enjoyed and will look forward to observing in more recent works.
This project and the artist have truly bridged the gap I have felt between emotions and intentions put in the production vs lyricism and vocals I have witnessed with the few "modern" works which can be classified as "house pop adjacent". But this being my introduction to the genre, serves as a really solid starting point, but it's only failing in my rating comes from my own limit in taste, maybe with more admiration of more genres of music, when I revisit this album, I will have a greater appreciation for the art behind it. I see it has potential of growing on me more than this first listen.

There has been a period in my life, which I assume almost everyone goes through, when I used to really like Em's music, but that was for whatever project was "recent at the time". Seeing this being generated yesterday, I was not sure I wanted to listen to it, knowing none of his old music, and the overall problem of the music not resonating with me. I still decided to give it a listen the main aim for me here is to listen to new and good music.
But unfortunately, 5 songs in I feel like I can't continue with this project at this moment in time. This is my first DNF and just 3 projects in, it's not looking good. But I plan to revisit this piece of work at a later time, maybe I'll enjoy it more then.
Therefore the official rating stands at at DNF/10, but I will give it a star score when I am prompted in hope that I can change and give a proper rating later down the line when I give this album a proper listen.

This "album" seems to be a live performance by The Who at Leeds if I am not mistaken. The music has aged, and it shines through each song. And I wouldn't say it has particularly aged like wine. I enjoyed it, fell asleep in the middle of the album even and had to finish it later in the day. It was nice to listen to, but nothing life changing.
This being my first introduction to the band seems to be unfair, and I would have rather liked to have listened to something more cohesive as a project. The band might have some really unique sound when it comes to the hard rock genre, but I lacked to witness it here. It is very well possible that the lack occurs due to my blindness towards the legacy and history behind this project, but I am hopeful that I will be able to see it more clearly in the future if I ever get the chance of coming across another one of their albums.

Physical Graffiti is a project which has given me a taste of Led Zeppelin so strong that it has stayed with me throughout the weekend. I really appreciate it being my first weekend album, meaning I could spend more time on it than other albums, and I have taken full advantage of it, going back to it again and again whenever I have had time to listen to any music. I really enjoyed this album; it categorises this era's rock music genre as a whole for me.
I have in the past heard the song “Kashmir”, and the song remains my favourite on the album, even though there is so much power and passion behind each and every song. The raw static of the guitars, which sometimes comes through the production, is such a beautiful show of age. As an electric and rock guitar enthusiast, I like it more than anything I have come across recently. Love, love, love it!
The sound is not totally unique for me; I have heard similar works from other bands, artists and even Led Zeppelin themselves in the past, but it does not take away from the fact that I feel so much appreciation for the entire body of work from start to finish. This is an album I will keep coming back to, and I am beyond excited to visit other works by them.

Enjoyed the album. Nothing special that I could point out. This particular sound I have heard before. Plus I didn't have enough time like I usually do to breath with the album to think over it carefully. But from my one listen, the album is nice and gets your going. It's moving in the sense that it lifts my spirits.

This score has inspired me to watch the movie, if that doesn't speak to the score's brilliance, I don't know what else does. The album is 'airy' and the atmosphere it creates is soulful and haunting.
This very much reminds me of one of my favourite albums, but more grim and darker. The production of the project is really really good, loved every song on here. It is like a shot of espresso, short and strong, but I could listen to an hour long album with the same energy and not feel the time pass.
This album also has this strange ability of trapping and influencing me with the loss of tracking time.
This is straight going onto the list of albums that I keep in my rotation and listen to it regularly.

The album is very much characteristically from its time which I have come to expect from rock projects. I enjoyed it, but don't have much to say.
I have liked this particular sound for a while, so it lacks the essence of "newness" but that isn't a commentary on the album itself but my previous listening taste.
Still I feel it's a solid rock album, nothing to critique really. Enjoyed it, but I don't know if I'll come back to listen to it, but then again maybe I will because of how comforting the familiarity of a sound I love.
