Where The Streets Have No Name: Great opener! What I’m Looking For: Classic. With or Without You: Another Classic. Bullet The Blue Sky: Nice, heavy change of pace from the first 3 tracks. Running To Stand Still: Softer even than the first few tracks. Red Hill Mining Town: Kind of boring. In God’s Country: Good driving guitar riff. Trip Through Your Wires: In 6/8, but otherwise a little bland. Harmonica solo is neat. One Tree Hill: Repetitive, similar to previous tracks. Why is Bono moaning at the end? Exit: Love how it starts soft and crescendos up to the climax. Mothers Of The Disappeared: Cool rhythms at the beginning.

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen

Thunder Road: Don’t love the stroke-having vocal style. Otherwise good song. Tenth Avenue Freeze Out: Horns! Nice little song. Night: Similar vibe to Meat Loaf, specifically Hot Summer Night. Backstreets: Still loving the style, reminiscent of Seger. Born To Run: Starting to feel very same-y through the album. She’s the One: Repetitive. Meeting Across The River: Trumpet Solo! Unique. Jungleland: Unexpected 10 minute song. I think Bob Seger stole Roll Me Away from this. Sax Solo!!
