1001 Albums Summary

Favorite Songs: You Know It's True, Shine a Light, Sway Ladies and gentlemen we're floating in space is one of my favorite songs of all time, so I was very excited to get to listen to Spiritualized for my first album out of the 1001. My expectations were met, if not exceeded, and I'm amazed they were able to make an album like this in 1992. I believe if this album was made today it would still be ahead of its time.

EDIT: Lazer Guided Melodies is an 8.5/10. I meant to add the rating at the end of the review. Favorites: You Make Me Feel So Young, I've Got You Under My Skin I used to like Frank Sinatra a lot more, and while he has grown off of me quite a bit, I still think that a good chunk of his songs are really good (notably My Way or The World We Knew). This album, unfortunately, was not that great. None of the songs were bad, but I didn't feel connected to the album and found myself bored for most of it. 6/10

Favorites: It's My Own Fault, How Blue Can You Get, Woke Up This Mornin' There's not much I can really say about this album, or live albums in general, because I feel like a lot of the substance would be felt better in person rather than a recording, so live album reviews will be a bit brief. With that aside, B.B. King is an outstanding vocalist, and the album really showcases that. Very pleasant experience. 7.5/10
