1001 Albums Summary

21 is potentially everything that is wrong with modern music: meaningless, soulless, overplayed pop. But to say it does not hit unbelievably hard is just a lie. That 5 song run from ‘Rolling in the deep’ to ‘Set fire to the rain’ is banger after banger. Lovesong is such a good cover of the original Robert must have been punching the air and ending the album on ‘Someone like you’ is fire.

I enjoyed this album a lot considering I’m not the biggest folk man - ‘Only love can break your heart’ and the guitar in ‘Southern Man’ were the highlights. I would say Side A was significantly better than B as I lost interest towards the end and I think Harvest Moon is a better album. All things considered, a solid album. 7.3/10

I am no jazz expert but i liked the music, very nice - 7.5/10
