1001 Albums Summary

The sound of Van Morrison’s voice is unmistakable. If you are familiar with “Brown Eyed Girl,” you know the voice well. This collection is a strong representation of his vocal talent. The back half of the album does get a bit repetitive, with more camping and jamming than I would have expected. But, for the late 60’s I suppose it was not too unusual. Overall, a worthy listen.

Ok, I’ve listened to a Beatles album. This is a good one to start with, honestly. A couple of certified hits on here, “Come Together” and “Here Comes The Sun” are the two biggest. I won’t go so far as to say I loved it, but I definitely didn’t hate it. Quite enjoyable for the most part.

A total jam session for blues. There is nothing bad about this. I was worried what I would get out of this, considering I know nothing about their music. But this was great stuff!
