When I saw this selection I was prepared for the worst and then I saw it was four tracks and over an hour of playing time and realised I was totally unprepared. But thankfully not in the way I expected to be, this is what I was looking for when I started this challenge, something totally unexpectedly excellent. Solo piano that's soulful and bluesy and never a hard listen, there's always something interesting and enjoyable going on. Way more accessible and enjoyable than I expected it to be.
