generally prefer the work on "isn't anything;" some of the tracks on "loveless" tend to drag in a way that i find stultifying rather than transporting or whatever. what's dreamlike for one can really be a snoozefest for another. still a good sound overall, and i appreciate the novel approach to the guitar, am glad it influenced others.

bob dylan's music may bring a man to tears — some through beauty, some through boredom, and some because they just think his voice sounds really awful. we love a controversial figure!

monumental. some modern day artists still struggle and fail to emulate even the weakest moments of this album.
