1001 Albums Summary

I appreciate this album for the artistry, but I just don't think this style of music is for me.

My favorites were Wouldn't It Be Nice, God Only Knows, Sloop John B, and surprisingly the instrumental part of Let's Go Away For Awhile was very moving to me! I loved the variance of musical textures contained within the album and enjoyed it even more than I thought I would.

I'm not generally a fan of live albums, and that proved to be the case with this album. There were too many very long songs that sounded vaguely the same and, as I told Jill, it started to sound like just lots of banging and "noise" rather than music.

I loved Dancing Queen, but the other songs didn't really stand out to me.
