1001 Albums Summary

I give this 1.5 Stars. It was pretty awful. It did have some experimental notes that reminded me of Jessica hoop. That were okay but overall not worth the listen

2nd album. 2.5 stars. I'm sure there will be many many worse albums which might bump this up, but pretty much all of the songs sound the same. And many are about the same thing- horny kids who feel they're too young to fuck (or at least have to write songs to pretend they aren't fucking)

3rd album. 3.75 stars. Overall a great collection by a legend, but the production on the album sucks- especially on the subtler, more nuanced tracks. But also it's amazing and interesting and groundbreaking

4th album. Three stars it was okay. Wasn't great. Wasn't the worst? Wasn't their best? decent album middle of the road. Can see where other artists borrowed from the sound, especially the new pornographers in twin Cinema
