1001 Albums Summary

Musically it isn't so bad, but maybe a bit generic at times. Has a Mississippi rock sound with a mix of Chicago. The lyrical content is funny but gets old quick. I think I enjoyed the track the Faith Healer the most, but mostly the intro was hypnotic, the second half of the song was just ok. Overall, this album is not good. Not sure why it was part of this collection.

I am not a huge Strokes fan but there are a few tracks on this album that I appreciate.

I’m a fan of Marshal. I used to listen to this album in high school a good bit, was fun to revisit.

Beck is always a fun listen, hadn’t put this album on in years.
