Bowie/Ronson’s glam production suits Lou’s sarcastic New York drawl and sly wit nicely, but I found myself wishing for better material throughout. His most influential solo work, to be sure, but not his best. Top Tracks: Vicious, Perfect Day, Satellite of Love

I like this record’s sound quite a bit, its pulsing latin rhythms, emboldened by Santana’s warm, tasteful guitar.
