Ok. Finished. What’s to like? Attitude - Her lyrics and delivery confer loads of attitude but without coming across as hostile. Lyrics- this is a bit more subjective but the subject matter of some of the lyrics was interesting. I don’t know anything about what life is like in Sri Lanka, or the Congo, but there’s kind of a window into that here. Also +10 points to the Australian kid who said he plays the didge and puts fish in the fridge. Made me laugh. Percussion - Reminds me of Gwen Stefani. Rhythms are easy to follow. What’s not to like? Zero Space - Most of the songs are a wall of words. She doesn’t leave much room for emphasis or clarity. Less is more. Lack of musicality- You could get pretty close a covering this album with a karaoke mic and a garbage can lid. Like, 80% of the way. This also comes across in her lack of intonation. Lots of upward inflection, and nasal nastiness. Overall rating 4.5/10 Favorite song - Mango Pickle
