1001 Albums Summary

- Something about the album cover disturbs me. Perhaps because it makes me imagine what having raw, runny eggs all over my hands would feel like - Zero is a fun and upbeat track that sets the tone for the album - Heads Will Roll is similar - When Soft Shock started I was confused why it had a loud, high pitched tone playing, turns out the fire alarms were going off in the house. I do like this song, and It's definitely better without the screeching. - Skeleton is a calmer song which is nice on my ears. Though I find the lyrics far too repetitive - Unfortunately after this point I realised I wasn't able to concentrate on my work, so I switched to some calmer music Overall, I enjoyed it. I love the vibe of the band, and I think the more upbeat songs are an absolute vibe and are perfectly balanced by the calmer ones. Howe, pop is not really my thing, so, overall, I'm not absolutely thrilled by this album, though I found it pleasant enough. I will say though, a lot of the songs kind of sound the same...
