I was mildly ashamed that I only knew Santana by way of Michelle Branch & Rob Thomas (I thought) and so was pleasantly surprised to find that I did recognize some of his other songs. That said, I thought it started out nice enough and then got bored. Maybe 3.5 if that were an option

Around "X-Tra Wide" I had the thought that they sounded like a Lonely Island parody of an alt rock band, and after that I couldn't unhear it. I don't know, this album made me laugh—probably not the band's intention, but oh well. I was entertained. I also appreciated the genre swings they took, even if they didn't all connect. Bonus tracks were more upbeat, which I guess makes sense for live recordings.
Lyrics not their strong suit, eh? Babby started singing along to the "Cha! Cha! Cha!" of the title track, though, so I'll let it pass.
According to the history of "The Sound of Silence" podcast episode I recently listened to, Paul Simon is kind of a huge jerk, so I issue this rating with some reluctance.
