Pure Rock and Roll Bliss.
Another Rock Classic but leaning on the Metal side a bit. Can appreciate the work just not my tempo.
It's Rolling Stones at it's finest. It's either you love their style or not and in this instance I just found it fine. Nothing really jumped out and forced you to remember the album.
The first two songs in this debut album are as great a start as any band or singer can dream off. Mr. Brightside literally became the unofficial national anthem of the UK and Jenny was a friend of Mine still has a very strong following and the bass riff can rival any. Unfortunately despite the entrance being grand the rest of the album slowly fizzles out with a few decent tracks scattered near the end and you get to remember that yep, this was definitely a debut album.
A lukewarm album. Things to appreciate yes, but for the most part it just moves past you. Just ok.
I can see how it would make this list but just a bit too moody for my taste(and yes, I get that's what they're supposed to be known for). It feels like something you'd hear as the soundtrack of a Resident Evil game or some horror franchise. Not my cup of tea.
Great Album
It's okay. Great storytelling and the instrumentals are great in parts.
Nope, just nope. Credit for trying something different but not everything different is good.
