1001 Albums Summary

This album, even though coming from a black woman, has storytelling that every person of every race can find themselves in ( even though, of course, some songs on the album are specifically towards danger that black people face, but there are songs that have messages that can be universally applied to every race ), storytelling on this album, even though more simplistic in its approach, dosent have less power, vulnerability and rawness. Tracy Chapman's voice has that emotion to it, like, that eternal simple power many people unfortunately forget about kinda in these days, and of course, songs are more relevant than ever today, and timeless.
