Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Sep 10 2025

pretty meh vocalistically, didnt really pay much attention to the poetry of it but I caught glimpses of a poetic tendency (lame ass way of not describing precisely what I heard but capturing some vague feeling of it) starting with the pocahontas song. liked the distorted guitar of the first and last song and how they were kind of light and dark versions of each other. that was pretty cool. my my hey hey, hey hey my my. rust never sleeps is a cool title. its always creeping up on you, ready to take over unfeelingly.

Haunted Dancehall by The Sabres Of Paradise
Sep 11 2025

music that probably sounded right at a specific time and a specific place (some warehouse in the 90s). cool to imagine how they were able to put these effects together back then though. big DNF

Goo by Sonic Youth
Sep 12 2025

i wonder how music like this is produced. probably more off the cuff than traditional songwriting. id guess whatever problem in the state of the world or in their personal lives which has a reflection on the human condition but mainly their own emotions would form the basis of the message they're trying to convey. let me find some of evidence of this. nah fuck it I'm too lazy. but they're also kind of above it all a little. I liked Kool Thing. I liked the distorted guitars and shit like too. This review is about as cohesive as the messaging in this album. The end.
