1001 Albums Summary

Jacqueline is really surprising start for the album and the spoken word bit almost took me out, Take Me Out; it's THE SONG™ but the rest of the album feels like equal parts Pulp (Dark of the Matinee) and The Killers (Darts of Pleasure) occasionally even dropping into the weird post-punk discordance of something like Wire (Michael) Surprising, quick and fun album with some very solid deep cuts.
