White Light by Gene Clark
Aug 13 2025

It’s a pretty average but good album with 60s and 70s vibes (surprise, it’s from 1971). I would say it’s perhaps a bit too gloomy, but great for unwinding. Nothing stood out too much, but I think I liked “For a Spanish guitar” the most. Also, having a song titled 1975 in a 1971 album is iconic.

Born In The U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen

Again, nothing too special for me, although I did enjoy this one more than White Light. My favourite song is probably No Surrender, but it was fun rediscovering a few iconic songs (aka 2, because I don’t know more) on this album.

Abraxas by Santana
Aug 15 2025

I did not like this one, it’s just not my genre at all. The only time I’d enjoy this kind of music would be in a restaurant where I don’t really listen and it’s just playing in the background.

Moondance by Van Morrison
Aug 16 2025

It’s okay, wouldn’t listen to it out of free will.

Aug 17 2025

Somehow I dislike this more than some of the others? I like the songs, but it’s just not something I could listen to on repeat. I find the instrumental aspect gets quite annoying after a while, her voice is great.

American Gothic by David Ackles
Aug 18 2025

Montana Song sounds like a far too long demo version of a Disney princess song that never made it. The rest is okay, not something I would listen to in my spare time.
