1001 Albums Summary

Good listen. Pretty. I think the only way to listen is to hear all the tracks continuously. A lot of parts are drastically dragged out, such as the last track, which simply is a lot of emptiness. Otherwise overall, I liked it and I hope to find more experiences like this throughout my 1001 album journey.

I was excited for the direction the album was headed after the first 2 songs. However, ultimately I ended up flabbergasted as to what I had just listened to and just generally confused. I feel like the band had many interesting ideas that they could’ve capitalised off of, but the end product is just a mess. Sound production is surprisingly well crafted. The 60s country rock esq guitar sound and repetitive, uninspiring melodies become old and contribute to an unthrilling experience.
