1001 Albums Summary

I wasn't really thinking about lovemaking to this music - I was more imagining myself in a cafe by the sea on a midsummer's day. Fun listen overall, and I really enjoyed the storytelling throughout the album. R&B isn't always the sort of thing I reach out to listen to, but this was really refreshing overall. The only thing stopping it from an extra star was that nothing really stood out to me fully, but I guess for the sort of vibe it's going for, that's a fairly good thing. Really fun listen overall. Exactly the sort of thing I enjoy listening to. I enjoyed the blending of how all the albums sound together, and I enjoyed overall listening to how it sounds. The writing was amazing too. Favourites: Neighborhood #2 (Laika), Une Annee Sans Lumiere, Crown Of Love

5 star for multiple reasons, but most of it boils down to the fact that I really enjoyed listening through it. Jazz is always one of my go-tos for when I want to listen to something, but I hadn't got to this yet, but it was so cool seeing all the influences from some of my favourite artists. Really fun listen overall, and I'd recommend anyone looking into jazz. I also saw lots of influence in pop music in general, and thought I recognised some songs from samples.
