Wondeful.
4.5/5
I like "Bookends" by Simon and Garfunkel. But this project doesn't have that same energy or more all complexity.
Not bad at all, but pretty.
3.5/5 ⭐⭐⭐1/2
Maybe it might change later, or I might need to listen to other projects from them. But I just couldn't get into this album at all. It doesn't sound bad, but it sounds bleak.
I feel like I'm listening to U2, which is not bad by itself. But is U2.
2.5/5 ⭐⭐⭐
The debut project from Arctic Monkeys shows passion, leverage, production, and a certain essence that only the 2000s rock can produce. And it works fantastically.
It isn't MAGNIFICENT, but it's definitively something everyone should hear.
(How did Arctic Monkeys fans accepted "The Car" knowing they could make something like this? It's beyond me.)
4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Using raw, unfiltered, and a pure crude concept to form an impressive, explicit and cruel album that displayed a sentiment in storytelling that has been tried to be replicated - even by the same Eminem - but can never be matched again. Although I still prefer The Marshall Matters LP (Which will also be on this list, probably)
4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Another project by the duo, and so close to one another, I can definitely see the beauty of this album. The soft voice, the energy, the sentiment, everything about it makes me feel happy and warm inside in ways I can't ever easily explain.
Truly wonderful experience.
4.5/5
Amazing rhythm, fast pacing and punk essence that I can't quite describe, but it works fascinatingly. Another band that I didn't know almost at all, and this only opens a discography worth exploring.
4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Just a compilation of guitar, drums and nonsensical lyrics that don't really amount to an interesting project or memorable songs.
Wouldn't say there's anything horrific, but it does become really hard to listen to after like 4 songs.
2.5/5 ⭐⭐1/2
A real nice album of Folk Rock. Although not without its imperfections, hut they really don't ruin the experience.
4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very nice and soft album. It gave me a very paternal and comforting vibe, and it reminded me a bit of "Rubber Soul" from The Beatles.
3.5/5 ⭐⭐⭐1/2
A fantastic debut to a fantastic band. A level of sound and energy, alongside a beautiful musical arrangement that captivates you one minute into the album.
Great work.
⭐⭐⭐⭐1/2
I'm not a big The Who fan, but I'm also not unattentive of their work. This project whoever is a miss for me, I may understand the icon and importance of the album itself (more so given the time) but it doesn't stand out as anything marvelous or entertaining.
The Rolling Stones have a particular style that i seem to enjoy, and this album filled with Blues and amazing solos fills a lot of those boxes.
4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
A rendition of Art Rock that at first I didn't quite understand, but the late songs made me comprehend the project as a whole. It's not perfect, but definitely a worth listen if you want to indulge into a more obscure experimental scene.
3.5/5 ⭐⭐⭐1/2
Although uncountable accountments of great music could be attributed to the great Ray Charles - adding the legacy he carries as a figure in music history - this album doesnt carry that accoutrement of excellence and essence that I generally distinct with a figure such as him. It is not a bad album, and actually really gains traction de closer to the final tracks it gets, but it feels like a compilations more than a project in itself.
