1001 Albums Summary

It feels very CCR, although not wholly original, but it is interesting—some more bluegrass/country in there. Lyrically, it is straightforward, too, but the guitarist is a killer.

Interesting indie rock album. It's a little generic vocally, but great bass and guitars and sick riffs.

Pretty standard classic rock, but there's some punk influence there too; you can tell this band is forming simultaneously as the Clash. They're not quite as raw and definitely tend towards pop rock, but that punk is still in the background for sure. It could definitely be more original, though. It's like the Beatles/Stones with an edge.
