1001 Albums Summary

Very experimental beats, which are not really "common" in my ears. But the vibe and flow is something different, which makes it very interesting. It depends on your taste if you like this kind of mashup of different genres or not. But nothing for me....

Very moody, ambient and a bit industrial sounding album, which leads you in some melancholic state. Not the "Emo-Type"-Way. More like a mature feeling emptiness. Will not be my favorite Radiohead -Album.

Johnny Cash is in his own league. country/rock/pop in an excellent songwriting. Very pleasable hearing. BUT not that favorite of mine.

What could you expect? A full country-album with the unforgettable voice of Mr Cash. Uptempo, Slow, Midtempo and some great songwriting. Definitely an album you can hear on a road-trip.

Jazzy and contemporary art of music. Piano is bringing like a whole Orchestra into it. Good for relaxing vibes with reading.

ObLaDi is the banger on this Album or Dear Prudence. Solid Beatles Album which is growing to my favorite of them. Pauls Bass-lines are more experimental and more funky.

For me it is an Album which could be heared through in one - take. Experimental -alternative. Something you didn't hear all the time, but with the easy and uncomplicated songwriting and schemes.

Like the title: It is a mixture of Surfer-Rock and Grunge. A very interesting mix which is not typical for the Pixies as you know in the newer Songs.

What should we say about this masterpiece? Starting with a Bomb(track), and going smoothly into the anthem of a generation. Every song is plastered with the riffs and experimental sounds from Tom Morello, which guitar playing style was ahead of his time. Excellent album. Nothing more too say.
