Listening statistics & highlights
8/26/25: Listened to this album on my way home and made a couple stops along the way. Definitely an old geezer 80s album! Tom Sawyer is a classic and I enjoyed the last song, Vital Signs, as well. Appreciated the instrumental/ guitar solos too.
8/27/25: Another classic to start off the album- Message in a Bottle. I appreciated the reggae vibes mixed within this rock genre.
8/28/25: Sorry to say this album definitely is not my taste in music. I liked one song, the last one on the album called “Salt of the Earth”. They incorporated what sounded like a gospel choir that really brought the song to life. The rest sounded country and I just didn’t care too much for it.
8/29/25: Not gonna lie, although I love Dolly, I was expecting more country disappointment. Ugh. Just men. Always gotta ruin everything. Anyway, next time let me just sit down and kindly shut the fuck up because oh my. I’m moving my Caucasian hips left and right restoring the smidge of Honduran left in me. YEEEEEE HAW. She really knows how to pull you in and just convey her emotions to you. Her twang. It just brings warmth to my heart. #gay4dolly
