1001 Albums Summary

Thought I would like this a lot more than I did. Easy to hear its influence on records that came later. I did almost turn it off during repeated screeches and yells from Prince on a couple of songs. We get it dude, you want that girl real bad. Still iconic, though.

Really liked this. Familiar with later Queen but hadn't heard this record or any of the songs on it. Less weird than the later stuff but you can hear where they're going.

Really enjoyed this. Great recording, super dry which I guess was the style at the time. More "funk" than I think I expected. Put me in a good mood.
