Don't know anything about this band and have not listened to much of this genre, and being my first album was not knowing what to expect. I will dare you (the first song) sounded decent and got me excited but then the next 3 songs got me worrying and wondering whether to continue or not. But credit to them the next songs redeemed the album. And songs about gender identity in the 80s was quite something. Adrogynous was one of the better songs of the album and the song that forced me to listen to the whole thing. I dont see the hype of this album to be honest, there were a few good songs but i dont know if they were memorable enough for me to go back to the album. Songs that i liked : Adrogynous, Unsatisfied, Answering Machine, and weirdly enough Gary's Got a Boner.
