Synchronicity I is boring to me, but the idea of Jung's synchronicity is interesting to me. Walking in Your Footsteps also does not sound great to me. Interesting comments about humanity's extinction and parallels to the extinction of the dinosaurs. O My God, I like the funky nature of this song. Although I don't really care for the religious stuff. At least it's questioning God a bit. "How can I turn the other cheek? It's black and bruised and torn" Mother is a track I just really don't care for. I guess the Freudian stuff is at least a bit interesting. Miss Grandenko, I just don't get this one at all. Doesn't sound the worst but just not interesting to me. Synchronicity II sounded alright but the lyrics weren't interesting me much. Every Breath You Take is obviously a classic, definitely sounds better than the previous songs. Still not something I would find myself listening to. It is funny that people think this is a love song though. King of Pain is probably my favorite track so far. It's pretty catchy and the lyrics are a little interesting. Wrapped Around Your Finger might be even better, I like the literary references and it sounds good. "I can see the destiny you sold Turn into a shining band of gold" is probably my favorite line on the album so far. Tea in the Sahara is alright. Maybe if I understood the literary references to "The Sheltering Sky" I would enjoy it more. Murder by Numbers is something I'm surprised I haven't heard before. I don't really care for it all that much but it's not bad. I just thought I'd see it in some kind of media where there are murders lol. Overall I don't really care for the album. I think I would just end up listening to random hit songs from The Police, like Roxanne.
