I didn’t understand this album when Beck released it, but I’ve come to love it since. Sea Change and Morning Phase are my two favorites in his catalog.
Not as southern rock as Black Crowes or Tom Petty. Also, distinctly not Sex on Fire. Really enjoyable.

I don’t understand this album’s place in time. It’s not an album from 1996. Maybe the mid 2010s. Also, it’s like Beck and maybe The Decemberists had a special cousin who they were being kind to and let in the studio for a bit.
