1001 Albums Summary

7/10, A bunch of great highs but a bunch of tracks and moments that embody the "what RHCP sounds like to people who don't like RHCP."

9/10, fantastic jazz album that's a great vibe from front to back. Not normally a jazz listener but very happy I listened to this.

7/10, my first Leonard Cohen album so rating is subject to change. It feels noticeably dated with the instrumentals, but there’s no doubt a lot of soul and expression through his voice and lyrics, some that’s no doubt lost on me. That said, I can’t deny the talent on display.

Can someone send me a link to the acid The Who were on when they made this?

Been meaning to get into the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, awesome place to start. Doesn’t feel like it’s aged a day. Does have a couple of lulls on the first listen, but those will probably pass with another. Even then, the highs WELL outweigh the lows.
