1001 Albums Summary

Independent Woman, I forgot how much I like this song. Brings me right back to being in middle school and listening to this with my friends like we had any real idea of life. lol getting actual chills from the harmonizing like damn. going from survivor into bootylicious is a trip. i was not expecting that. idk what i thought nasty girl would be like but this was not slut shaming. like i know this was the 2000s but damn. i also did not expect to go from songs like independent woman and survivor to gospel like music at the end.

i don't know if i've ever listened to abba except for dancing queen so this will be interesting... when i kissed the teacher is a hell of a song to start with. dancing queen so iconic. these songs remind me of looking through my mom's record collection when i was little but it's just not for me. dancing queen i will always love you but the rest are forgettable.

initial thoughts even before listening is i'm so fucking excited. no skips just like i thought. love it

oh its a long album. i wasn't expecting that. i also really am not a fan of live albums so i fear this will not go well but i'm hoping to be wrong. it makes me think of fallout so far. not a fan of all the speaking, but i like big band and jazz enough to keep listening.
