1001 Albums Summary

Typical singer/songwriter vibes. Every song sounded just like the last one. I was bored. Not horrible, but I wouldn't listen again.

Not my style at all. I skipped almost every song. Once you hear the first minute, you've heard it all. Boooooooo.

I didn't expect so many African influences. Pretty fun, boppy album for being experimental. I feel neutral towards it. I won't listen again, but I wouldn't be upset if someone else put it on.

This makes me nostalgic. Makes me want to watch a period movie. Makes me want to go sit on a porch and listen to live music in the summer. The days when I feel nostalgic, romantic, and hopeful, this is what I’ll play.

Not bad. I appreciate learning where songs I’ve always known (Coconut) originate from. I probably won’t listen again, but it didn’t feel like wasted time. I’ll be able to identify any Harry Nilsson songs in music trivia now so that’s a plus.

Kinda fun, but I won’t listen again. I don’t think I listen to ska… ever? So it’s interesting to hear some of that. Sounded like boardwalk carnival music. Why, I don’t know. But that’s a fun vibe, and for that I didn’t hate it.
