Darkdancer by Les Rythmes Digitales
Oct 15 2025

Funky, not my normal style of music. Guitars are hypnotic and really keep you in The synths are nice, I like the choppy drums. However a lot of the songs sort of land flat for me. It feels like an album that is influential and important but also doesn’t really need to be remembered by me Just realized I was listening to like a half version of the album? Had to restart halfway Hmm idk something just isn’t connecting. I didn’t turn it off but definitely felt like a slog near the end. Damaged people did end up being saved to my likes. 4/10

Live At The Regal by B.B. King
Oct 16 2025

Oooo blues, a genre I’m not too familiar with but always enjoy. Guitar tone is hypnotic. I wish my guitar had that sound, not typically a fan of live plays but enjoying the crowd of this one He has a powerful voice that hooks you It’s a style of blues that feels so approachable and makes you want to croon with him Will admit I blinked and missed like half of it. But my refusal to restart will just be a caveat.

At Folsom Prison by Johnny Cash
Oct 17 2025

First Johnny cash album I’ve taken the time to listen to. Not usually a fan of liveplays but his performance and banter add to a sort of intimate nature the songs have. His sultry voice makes me jealous I am a little bit tired of that folk guitar/ sound. It was very intriguing and fun but after a bit I needed a break His ballads hit

Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme by Simon & Garfunkel
Oct 20 2025

Enjoyable, will admit nothing truly stands out, but I think I could listen on repeat without real complaints. Homeward bound has stood out It’s unfortunate that I’ve decided to do this project while at work. It means albums like this can easily blend into the background and come up a little short. I enjoyed my time listening but probably missed the thesis of the album. Enjoyable enough that I may go back with a second listen on my own time 3/5

Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Oct 21 2025

Trodding, quiet and Erie. I enjoyed my time with it but also it didn’t keep me enthralled the entire time. I enjoy radioheads ability to keep you on the edge of your seat but also comfortably in the recliner of life. A few hits that I saved and will maybe one day give another listen ti

Faith by George Michael
Oct 23 2025

Lots of fun, had me grooving through it all. Was surprised to learn it was 51 minutes long felt like a tight 30
