I like the instrumentals and lyrics, but I'm not a fan of the talk-singing. When he actually sings, it's better, but I still don't care for his voice much.

I had never actually listened to an Aretha Franklin album and only knew Natural Woman (more familiar with Carole King's version) and Respect. This was a mistake, and I'll be listening to more of her discography.

I really liked this album. I don't think I'd go out of my way to listen to it, but I wouldn't skip any of the songs if they came on shuffle.

At first, I really wasn't sure I was going to like it. It's a fine album, but I started skipping the songs about halfway through if they didn't get my interest after 30 seconds. I don't think I'd go out of my way to listen to any of the songs, but I wouldn't turn any of them off if they came on.
