Leftism by Leftfield
Oct 29 2025

I’m not super into the casual listening of house music, so this one wasn’t for me. Much preferred the ambient electronic tracks to the thump-thump house tracks. Still cool to listen to some vintage house music and learn more about its origins. Will probably not listen again, but may recommend to friends who are fans of the genre.

At Mister Kelly's by Sarah Vaughan
Oct 30 2025

Miss Vaughan has a beautiful voice and this recording is phenomenal for the time. Loves the audience interactions and little mistakes. Endearing and genuine.

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
Nov 01 2025

Wack, zany, and nonsensical with flashes of astonishing human brilliance. I love when an album makes me feel small, and this one does it in the best way.

Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme by Simon & Garfunkel
Nov 04 2025

Just kinda meh. Maybe I’m just not a Simon and Garfunkel fan but this nearly put me to sleep. Kinda same-y. I recognize some of it was probably very politically counter, but that just doesn’t change the face that it’s boring.

Pacific Ocean Blue by Dennis Wilson
May 20 2026

Some of the songs seem ahead of their time, toying with modulation, pressing the boundaries of rock. Sad, crooning, different than the Beach Boys signature sound.
