1001 Albums Summary

This was the first album that was generated for me. Definitely not a fan of crooning corny country ballads, but her voice is undeniably incredible. I did like the occasional hints of blues, but on the whole this was a bit of a struggle for me to get through despite the whole thing only being 35min.

I've liked YYY for a while now, although I must confess that my introduction to them as a normie was through Rock Band. Listening to this album definitely made me go "ah okay I know this song, didn't realize it was YYY" a couple of times. They're not quite rough around the edges enough here, it feels like they pull back a bit with it. There are some great tracks: Zero and Hysteric stood out to me. I liked the melancholy, but slightly hopeful-sounding end with Little Shadow. A solid listen, much closer to the type of music I usually listen to compared to the first two albums generated for me.
