5/10 - Almost gave it a 4, the first half of the album really did not do it for me. Felt like it was missing something. As a fan of modern production, it also felt a little bit of basic at times. Mother stood out, not because I liked it, but just how weird it felt out of context. But the Every Breath you take started and reminded me why it is a classic. Honestly, this song alone pulls this album up. The following songs felt a bit better too, King of Pain was decent, Tea in the Sahara was a nice calm one, and I also liked Murder by Numbers more then most of the songs in the album. Probably won't be re-listening to it, but not a terrible album for me either.
