1001 Albums Summary

I really do not get the reason she has such a following. The only cut on the album that I found even remotely pleasing was "Aurora", and that was still a slog. The dissonance of both her voice and music just do not work for me. As for her lyrics, they read/sound like a forest nymph reading junior high school poetry. So, not even close to a likeable album.

To me, just a typical Kinks album. One above average cut - 'Sunny Afternoon', one very lame throw-away 'Holiday in Waikiki, the rest average.

Managed only 3 tracks. Just didn't work for me. Their earlier work and I don't agree.
