1001 Albums Summary

Honestly kinda mid. Probably influential but I don't know enough about these dudes to outright call it bad. After listening to the whole thing, I was never impressed, but I never outright hated it. The religious overtones section was definitely not my speed. Could expect hearing this in a random diner on a road trip, which is kinda neat. Either a 2 or 2.5 out of 5.

Banger. Can instantly tell how influential this is, and really enjoyed the old school hip hop from front to back. Easy 5/5.

Very very mid. Interesting and enjoyable at times, but grating and too experimental at others. Went a bit too avant-garde with the screeching and broken glass as motifs in certain songs. I'll respect it for what it is and give it 3/5. It was just okay.

Excellent. Pleasantly surprised by the 4th track, too. Overall a very strong album, and War Pigs was probably my favorite.
