1001 Albums Summary

One of my favorite albums of all time

Love Elton John and loved the vibe of this album. The fact that all the beats sounded like they came from the same sample. Speaking of samples, so cool to hear the original version of the Tupac song Ghetto Gospel.

An interesting album. Definitely a product of its time. And actually very timely because its giving Stranger Things

An interesting listen. I feel like the beach boys are kind of a mystical group in that when I was younger they felt like an american beatles group but I never actually listened to their music or new anything about them like I knew about the beatles. I think after hearing this album its clear that they have their own particular sound which at times feels up beat and fun but I didn't feel particularly interested in the music like I do when I listen to the beatles

I'm a ZepHead I love this album

It was exactly what I expected from a dolly parton album, I liked the joseph and the multicolor coat metaphor but I feel like it got a little too women hater for me

Did they know? Did they know how insane this album was when they released it? I can't even Imagine what the studio must've been like when they recorded this

An all timer, To Zion always makes me tear up a little bit
