1001 Albums Summary

Not what I usually listen to, but that's not a bad thing. Reminds me of stuff my mum would listen to when I was a kid. Objectively, the lyrics of these songs seem quite shallow. They speak a lot about sex and money, I feel like I'm too far removed culturally to fully appreciate what's being presented here. That being said, the music itself is great! Jazmine's voice is fantastic and the beats sounds great too.

What a joyous collection of songs. Lust for Life is such an appropriate title, the whole album oozes charm helped in no small part by David Bowie's inclusion. I didn't notice him until around halfway through the record, but listening back through the front half his influence is clear. I also see the building blocks for so many acts that I listen to in this record, I really enjoyed listening to it.
