1001 Albums Summary

My mom loves this album so i've been vaguely familiar with it forever. It's obviously very influential, and some of the tracks are classics to me, but some of them just gave me a bit of a headache. I won't lie, some of the longer tracks that I wasnt already familiar with were a bit hard for me to listen to. I'm disappointed because i thought i'd love it more. It's solid, but just a lot for me.

The actual guitar playing by Jeff Beck is excellent. Unfortunately there's waaaaay too much Rod Stewart and the lyrics are...... . not great. If you have a Gen X dad i bet he'd love this.

this album will always be a classic to me
