Trying to put myself in the mindset of how it was received when it first dropped, and if it was groundbreaking? It sounds cohesive, but it blends together quite a bit. God I really hate Janie’s Got a Gun too, a big ol stinker album for me

Bookended by Young Americans and Fame is sort of crazy?? I liked Win, but some things felt like filler (like I don’t need a cover of Across the Universe). I think I like his theatrical work better

I luv the dead, started rough bc of dark star which I don’t love (I know boo hiss) but I liked the rest bc it was very CCR

I've only heard a couple songs from this album before but I loved it! He's just so funny

I know that this is supposed to be his best album, but am I crazy in saying i didn't love it? I think there are better crooners out there
