1001 Albums Summary

album im familiar with, some standout tracks. however i don’t feel like this is a memorable enough album other than said standout songs. would still buy it in cd though, something easy and crowd pleasing to play in the car

very generic sounding. i’d say it sounds like any other rock music released in the 80s, but that would be an insult to other bands. i see what they’re trying to do, combining elements synthesizers and drum machines with traditional rock but somehow it still doesn’t work for me, it doesn’t even sound insteresting or innovative. not seeing myself reaching for this album anytime soon.

Really enjoyed it from start to finish. Part of it was the nostalgia it brings from the countless replays my dad put on during road trips, another part is how sonically cohesive the album sounds. Also I really liked how packed the album is, it’s the perfect length for me. It’s been in my rotation for years.
