So by Peter Gabriel
Dec 16 2025

Possibly the most 80's sounding album I've ever listened to - and this is in no way a bad thing. Each song was a completely different vibe from the previous, which left me wondering what I'd get next. I forget how much I love long songs until I listen to them. Might listen to this album again, depending on what mood/setting I'm in. Liked songs: - Don't Give Up (I loved the slow, floaty vibe and the woman's vocals). - Mercy Street (A really beautiful song. I loved the lyrics and the African music influence interwoven throughout). - Big Time (I loveddd the disco-y sound to this song and the satirical lyrics). - We Do What We're Told (haunting and beautiful instrumentals and vocals). Favourite song: Mercy Street

That's The Way Of The World by Earth, Wind & Fire
Dec 17 2025

Fortunately, soul will never grow old for me. This is such a funky album - I'm defo storing it away for when the warmer months reappear or when I'm in need of a mood booster. Liked songs: - Thats the Way of the World (chill groove that I could see being a go-to chill out song for me) - Happy Feelin' (Awesome instrumentals) - Reasons (BRING BACK HIGH PITCHED MALE VOICES! What a song) - Africano (Every good album needs at least one fully instrumental song. Had me feeling like I'd just stumbled into a random tent at a festival that just happens to be playing the best music I've ever heard) Favourite song: Between Reasons and Africano

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses

A classic. Unfortunately didn't have enough time to listen to it all before my next album, but will be revisiting soon! Liked songs: All so far!
