1001 Albums Summary

The bangers are bangers but the rest feels kinda dusted. An absolut great Album for music history and Aretha Franklin is a giant of it's time. I think it did not age as well as it should have. Wouldn't mind listening to it more often, but won't go into daily rotation.

Franky boy is always great to hear. But albums of his did not work that well for me. Despite all the songs been absolutely well put together and sounding great there is nothing stuck or at least there a no favorites on the album. It kinda lost me. When Spotify already switched to another album of his I didn't even notice.

Finally an album I feel to stupid to understand. I'm very sure that there are deep thoughts in those folky 28min. But as a non English speaking person I couldn't dig it in the first few listens. I guess I would have to Google my way around every song to fully grasp it.

Very versatile and kinda well done in every genre that it touches but kind of a mixed back to me. Since nothing sounds even remotely the same it kinda lost me in the way. Yes there are some cool influences but nothing really sticks out in nearly an hour of runtime. Probably good for fans but not for me.
