1001 Albums Summary

Coming in at 10 songs totaling 43 minutes Fulfillingness’ first finale is a great listen (of course it is its Stevie Wonder). This is the perfect album to put on in the morning to get your mind right. Stevie is one of the few artists who make this music thing look easy, almost as if the music is flowing through him. This album feels very improvised, not in a way that seems sloppy, but in a way that feels free. Favorite song: Creepin’

Great laid back listen

An album that defines the 80s sound with guitar solos spread throughout amazing synth work and melodramatic lyrics. This was the album that put Prince on the map. His vocal range goes from soothing harmonies to guttural screeching which makes every song an adventure.

First time listening to Santana and what a treat. A beautiful fusion of samba, jazz, and funk

Rap opulence at its finest. Everything from the instrumentals to the guest features on this project screams luxury. This was where Kanye’s ego began to show and you couldn’t deny how great he was. Unfortunately that isn’t the case anymore.

Really fun listen despite the potentially problematic title. The drums on this album are actually absurd. The title track has become one of my favorite songs by police. However this album does lose momentum towards the end and some of the songs feel less fleshed out compared to some of the bigger songs.
