1001 Albums Summary

Thus far too much harmonica. Entered skeptical, finished confirmed that this is not for me.

It's fun, creative, and obviously made with care. It was a little chaotic and definitely of the times. Not something I would listen to in my free time.

Listen, I know people like music like this. And it's not bad music generally. It is just not my music. This went way too long. Why was the second to last song 9 minutes? I started to lose my mind.

Classic, good Michael Jackson. I can see why he was the King of Pop. Excellent music and clearly a foundation for modern music.

Pretty good, not bad. Iconic historically. That's about it.

this is what i'm talking about! it is so much better than the other albums I've listened to so far. This album is extremely textured, with layers of sound that you can feel inside your head. It's stimulating and sensory rich without being overstimulating.

I was honestly very pleasantly surprised! I don't think I'd heard any Rod Stewart songs before this. I don't love his raspy voice and some of the lyrics I'm like eh, but the music was really intricate! I really enjoyed the music.

Fun, classic, educational.

I'm glad to get some new wave. I did have fun listening to it, but unfortunately he sounds way too much like the breadfish guy, so that did affect my listening, but did not prevent me from enjoying it.
